The Zombie Longshot Blaster is a great weapon but lacks the proper place to grip the blaster for aiming and weapon control. The Zombie Longshot is a reshell of the original Longshot which came with a bipod in this area, where the newer Zombie Longshot does not come with either, a good front grip, or the bipod. However the Bipod mount is still present and makes the gun look empty in this area. Thus we came up with a Front Grip to complete the Longshot’s capabilities and overall looks at the same time.
Applications:
The Longshot Front Grip is specifically designed for the Nerf® Longshot weapon and will not fit any other blaster. However it will fit both old Longshot designs and the new Zombie Strike Longshots. Modifications to the body are required to mount the grip.
Installation:
This product requires modification to the blaster body itself. There are picture in the detail section showing the required modifications. The Longshot has a mount for a bipod and this must be removed in order to fit the grip. There is no need to take the blaster apart, but using hand tools you just need to remove the bipod mounts until the surface is flush with the frame body. Tools:
You will need some hand tools, like a rotary tool, and maybe some files to remove the bipod mount on the longshot body. Also a 3/32″ hex wrench for installation.
